Most domestic calls fall into one of three groups: something has stopped working, something needs adding, or the house is being brought up to standard before a sale, a let or a renovation. We handle all three with the same engineers and the same paperwork.
You get a fixed price after a short survey, a booked date rather than a window, and an engineer who explains what they found. Where a job turns out smaller than expected, the price comes down.

How a domestic job runs
Call or send photos
Describe the problem or the plan. For small jobs a couple of photos of the fuse board and the area is enough to price it.
Survey and fixed quote
For larger work an engineer visits, measures up and sends an itemised quote within two working days. No call-out fee for quoted work.
Booked date, tidy work
We turn up when we said, protect floors and furniture, and clean up before we go.
Test, certify, explain
Everything is tested, the certificate is issued and you get a walk-through of what changed and how to use it.

Do I need to replace my old fuse box?
If your consumer unit still has rewirable fuses, no RCD protection, or a wooden or metal back board, it does not meet current wiring regulations and will be flagged on an EICR. A modern consumer unit with RCBOs on every circuit typically costs between £450 and £750 fitted and takes half a day.
How do I know if my house needs rewiring?
Signs include a fuse box with old fuse wire, rubber or fabric-insulated cables, sockets that are warm or discoloured, frequent tripping, or a house last rewired more than 30 years ago. An EICR tells you definitively. A full rewire on a three-bed house usually takes five to eight days.
How quickly can you attend an electrical fault?
For existing customers we aim for same-day attendance on faults that leave you without power, heating or hot water. For new customers most faults are booked within two working days. Nexa Power engineers carry test equipment, common breakers and accessories on the van so most faults are fixed on the first visit.
Is your work certified?
Yes. As a NAPIT registered installer, every notifiable job is self-certified under Part P of the Building Regulations and you receive an Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Works Certificate. Your local authority is notified automatically.
